This Privacy Policy is designed to give you a greater understanding of how we collect, use, store, disclose and otherwise handle personal information.
This Privacy Policy applies to all individuals who interact with us (you/your), including everyone who visits or uses our website at www.d2dauction.com.au or any software platform / online auction platform we offer (Website), anyone who uses our online auction services, anyone who creates an account with us, contacts us or subscribes to our communications or anyone who contacts our support team. This Privacy Policy applies to our collection, use and other handling of your personal information.

• dealership name and ABN;
• work title or role;
• business address;
• billing or financial information for invoicing buyer fees, which may include bank account details or payment card information;
• vehicle listing and transaction data submitted through the Website;
• login credentials or account identifiers;
• your marketing preferences;
• communications between you and us; and
• any information voluntarily submitted via registration, account setup, or support requests.
In some cases, we may also hold additional information you choose to provide.
Collection of information through our Website

Site visit information - we record your server IP address, the date and time of your visit, the page/s you visited, any documents you downloaded, the previous site you visited and the type of device, browser and operating system you used.

Within Optimus Group Australia Pty Ltd and its subsidiaries (Optimus Group) (the ultimate holding company of Global Carz Pty Ltd (trading as Dealer 2 Dealer Auction))
We may share personal information with our related bodies corporate for the purposes described in section 4 above. For example, information about your dealership or your Website use may be stored in our record management system and accessed by other entities in the Optimus Group to help when they provide you with a service in the future.

• technology providers supporting auction delivery (e.g., Webtron);
• financial institutions for payment processing;
• professional advisers (e.g. legal, accounting);

We may disclose personal information to third parties located overseas, including external advisers; marketing or communication platform providers; service providers (including payment processing service providers and information technology service providers). We have policies to destroy files that are no longer needed after a certain period of time, subject to any record-keeping requirements imposed by law.
Online credit card payment security
We may from time to time process payments using EFTPOS and online technologies operated by us or third parties. All credit card transactions processed by us using those technologies use industry standard security measures to protect payment details.

While we endeavour to protect the personal information and privacy of users of our Website, we cannot guarantee the security of any information that you disclose online and you disclose that information at your own risk. We may, however, charge a fee to cover our reasonable costs of locating the information and providing it to you.
